Cefixime 100mg/5ml Syrup

Gramocef-O 100 Syrup contains Cefixime (third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic) (typically 100 mg per 5 mL as per formulation). Cefixime acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell lysis and death. It is indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, otitis media, urinary tract infections, and uncomplicated gastrointestinal infections. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or other β-lactam antibiotics.
