Amlodipine 1Omg Tablet

Amlong-10 contains amlodipine 10 mg, a long-acting dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. Amlodipine inhibits calcium ion influx into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle, resulting in peripheral vasodilation, reduced systemic vascular resistance, and improved coronary blood flow. It is indicated for the management of hypertension, chronic stable angina, and vasospastic (Prinzmetal’s) angina. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to amlodipine or severe hypotension.

Amlong-10 is administered once daily, providing sustained 24-hour blood pressure control. Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment, severe aortic stenosis, and heart failure, and monitor for adverse effects such as peripheral edema, dizziness, flushing, and palpitations. It supports effective cardiovascular risk reduction through consistent antihypertensive and antianginal action.
