Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide + Simethicone Oral Suspension

Relcer Gel contains Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium Hydroxide (antacids) with Simethicone (antiflatulent). The antacids act by neutralizing gastric acid and increasing gastric pH, reducing irritation of the gastric mucosa, while simethicone reduces surface tension of gas bubbles, promoting their coalescence and expulsion. It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of hyperacidity, dyspepsia, gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), and flatulence. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to components, severe renal impairment, and hypophosphatemia.

This formulation provides rapid relief of acid-related symptoms with additional control of gas and bloating. Use with caution in patients with renal dysfunction, elderly patients, or prolonged use, due to risks of electrolyte imbalance and accumulation of aluminium or magnesium. Common adverse effects include constipation (aluminium salts), diarrhea (magnesium salts), and mild gastrointestinal discomfort.
